Shree Ram Khadka received his Master’s degree in mathematics from Tribhuvan University,Nepal in 1996 and PhD in 2012 in Optimization with the dissertation entitled “Mixed-model Just-in-time Production Systems” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tanka Nath Dhamala. He is a post-Doc fellow
In optimization from Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg, Germany under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Frank Werner with the support of DAAD in 2013 for six months and from University of Bremen, Bremen, Germany with the support of Erasmus Mundus cLINK Preoject as the Erasmus Mundus Fellowship under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Till Becker in 2015-16 for ten months.
Dr. Khadka is currently is working in the Central Department of Mathematics, Tribhuvan University, Nepal in the capacity of Associate Professor. He works as a member of the research group of Optimization and Scheduling in the department.
Dr. Khadka has published a number of research papers in several national and international journals. His research areas are scheduling theory and algorithms, production systems and logistics systems, just-in-time manufacturing, evacuation planning. He is working as an associate editor of the international journal of operations research Nepal. He has participated national and international conferences and workshops. He has been associated with some academic organizations such as NEGAAS, NMS, NMC.
He has been teaching optimization courses in Master’s and MPhil programs and advising thesis writing in Master’s, MPhil and PhD.
